Marina Bay Sands is Singapore’s most iconic luxury hotel with the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool that seems to drop right into the city. The integrated resort has award-winning dining, a luxury shopping mall, a canal with gondolas, an arts and science museum, and a range of entertainment including a casino and theater showing Broadway hits. Behind lies Gardens by the Bay, offering green respite from the dense downtown.

Esplanade walkway with dining (and Starbucks!) and great views of the Marina Bay Sands. Sunglasses and umbrellas are a must! Weather quickly changes from sun to thunderstorms and torrential rain within the hour!
Kelsi, Marina Bay Sands
Marina Bay Sands, another view from the Esplanade. Behind Kelsi is the lotus-shaped ArtScience Museum, which offers temporary exhibitions curated by other museums. Our favorite exhibits so far have been Disney: Magic of Animation and Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland.

Marina Bay Sands, Clarke Quay
Views of Marina Bay Sands from Riverside Quay and Clarke Quay. Mid-level lies the Parliament building, which is red-roofed and has the red-and-white Singapore flag flying. The Parliament of Singapore is based on the Westminster system, a parliamentary system that was developed in England, revealing the island nation’s original founding.
Dad and Mom, Marina Bay Sands, rooftop view
When Mom and Dad visited us in December 2018, we went up to the top of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Amazing views! Skyscrapers of banks and high rise residential living in the distance form the eye-level view.
Keri and Kelsi, Marina Bay Sands infinity pool
Swimming in the Marina Bay Sand’s pool, the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool, is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So high up, the pool water is cool with the wind!
