Singapore Botanic Gardens

Singapore has an abundance of gardens and parks, but none more famous than the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Located in the middle of the island, the Botanic Gardens is an oasis from traffic and high-rises. You could spend many afternoons, like we do, exploring different areas of the garden and discover new surprises. You’ll find the secret Dell tucked behind Swan Lake, a Girl-on-Bicycle bronze sculpture hovering over a hedge, a pair of monitor lizards mating; you’ll smell fragrant gardenias; you’ll delight in a picnic while listening to a live concert on Symphony Stage. The garden is a living and changing environment with flowers budding, trees being planted, and Kingfishers swooping. The gardens are constantly being restored under the vigilant park maintenance staff. And our favorite? The orchids.
